The Story Behind Misty Petal

It all began when I reached a stage in life where I became more mindful about what I was putting on my skin. Around that time, my sister mentioned handmade soap. I remember wondering, “What makes it so special and why is it so pricey?” That little spark of curiosity led me into the world of soapmaking. 

The more I learned, the more fascinated I became. Eventually, I decided to give it a try. From that very first batch, I was hooked. What started as a small experiment quickly turned into a passion. Soapmaking became more than just a craft, it became a source of joy, relaxation, and creativity in my everyday life.

Of course, the journey wasn’t without its challenges. I made plenty of mistakes, but each one taught me something new. With every batch, I refined my recipes, adjusted my methods, and grew more confident. Over a period of two years, I even began crafting my own natural ingredients like homemade oat milk, almond milk, rice milk, flaxseed milk, and hemp seed milk to use in my soaps. Can I call myself a pro now? I like to think so.

During that time of perfecting my craft, I never imagined I would turn soapmaking into a business. I was simply creating soaps I felt completely comfortable and proud using on myself and my family. I’ve always believed in the power of nature, so from the very beginning, I chose to stay all-natural carefully selecting only the best oils, butters, colors, and scents for every single bar.

I believe true beauty lies in the quality of the craft itself. My soaps may not have flashy colors or intricate designs because every moment of my attention is dedicated to the art of making a truly exceptional bar. Every bar is humble in appearance but bold in its honesty, a reflection of its natural simplicity and purity.

At first, I shared my soaps with friends and family. Their kind words, honest feedback, and genuine enjoyment gave me the confidence to keep going. With their encouragement, I perfected my formulas and created the bars I’m offering today.

Now, I want to share these soaps with you. Each bar is made with care, patience, and a true love for the craft. I hope you enjoy using them as much as I enjoy making them.
